PARENT SURVEY: This survey is to collect information on students' home Internet access to enable Allen Public Schools staff to plan for remote learning opportunities due to long-term school closure (as needed) due to COVID-19.

Our school is planning for the possibility of implementing continuous learning for all students following guidelines that could be developed by the Oklahoma State Department of Education, pending decisions by the State School Board in their meeting this Wednesday. We are looking into all our options that best fit our community.

Please complete one survey per family. THANK YOU!

Dear Parents and Guardians,

I would like to update you on our state closing school. The state school board held a meeting and voted to close schools until April 6th. This includes all instruction and activities. There will be no practicing, games, activities or gatherings at school during this time. The CDC is encouraging everyone to stay home. Administration, cafeteria and maintenance will be the only personnel at school during this time. Our cafeteria will still be serving breakfast and lunch to provide meals to students. We will determine this week how this will look and how we will get the meals to families requesting them.

I realize there is a lot of emotion on what is the right thing to do at this time. Our priority right now is to make sure everyone is safe. I will let you know as soon as I can what this will look like for our school and our students moving forward.
